WELCOME ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Welcome to the SWON website!  We are the Symphonic Wind Orchestra of North London, a friendly group of amateur musicians of all ages and backgrounds.  We come together on a weekly basis in East Finchley to play some fantastic music.  SWON does three to five performances each year and have been on tour around Europe! JOIN US! ______________________________________________________________________________________ We currently have spaces for Bass Clarinet, Baritone Saxophone, Bassoon, Trumpet, Cornet and French Horn. If you play these instruments Grade 6 and above and have a good standard of sight-reading, please come along to a rehearsal or contact us for more information. REHEARSALS ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Rehearsals are held on Tuesday evenings during term time at: Martin Primary School Plane Tree Walk East Finchley London N2 9JP Rehearsals start at 7:30pm prompt and finish at 9:45pm. Nearest Underground station is East Finchley (Northern Line) and bus route is 263, with 234, 102 and 143 stopping nearby.
